Salida Improv Movement (SIM) is all about teaching and performing improvisational comedy. With classes and workshops suited to all experience and ability levels, SIM brings accessible instruction to anyone who is improv-curious. Shows feature a range of performers, from first timers to seasoned pros, focused on seriously funny theater.
Founder Garrison Garcia has been improvising since 2013 and has trained in Arizona, Colorado, Washington, and Chicago. His passion for all things improv shines through in his instruction and stage presence. Currently, Garcia performs with the SIM house team, Bad Dogs, and hosts bi-weekly open improv rehearsals in Salida.
