I’m Wendy Mitchell, a botanical mixed media artist at The Wildflower Studio here in Salida. Since 2019 I’ve been making cyanotypes layered with watercolor, gold linework, and collage, work rooted in the flowers and landscapes of this valley. I moved here in 2022 after finishing a fine art degree in printmaking and textile design, and Colorado has been shaping my work ever since. I sell original paintings, cyanotype prints, and botanical home goods and gifts, and I teach classes and workshops out of the studio.
