Linda Frances, owner, creates abstract and landscape paintings in oil and acrylic. I strive to achieve the essence or spirit of place, real or imagined. The Western landscape is an inspiration even for the abstracts. Working in a series allows for deep immersion in the subject matter or theme. The “State Tree” series includes about half of the originals left and a limited number of prints. Newer series are the “Canyon Series” inspired by Canyon de Chelly, and the “Paradise” series, bright and bold colors and forms.
