We love books, and we love to share books with others! Our bookstore’s mission is to build community around books. We started at the Salida Farmers’ Market in the summer and fall of 2023 and now we have a brick and mortar to create a space for books. We have community book clubs and author events all year round.
We support authors residing in and visiting Salida and the surrounding region. We have hosted Ted Conover, Ben Goldfarb, Pam Houston, and many more local authors.
During Artwalk:
We will be hosting author Miriam Horn on Thursday, Oct. 8 with her new book Homesick for a World Unknown about biologist George Schaller. We will be displaying artwork by Jackson Bahn throughout the weekend with a reception on Friday, Oct. 9.
