After a long and varied career in art; silversmith, pottery, screenprinting, set design and lighting, I was always disdainful of photographers. Aim and shoot can be done by a robot I thought. They should sign with the name of the camera. Well look who’s a photographer now. I’m sorry to all the talented artists behind cameras that I maligned. It’s addictive, creative, appealing and important. (My work doesn’t usually look like photos because I heavily edit them on my mac after the photoshoot.)
