Born and classically trained in Kansas City, Coleman has built a life around the piano—an instrument that’s shaped every place he’s called home. After developing his craft in the vibrant music scenes of Kansas City and later Chicago, he eventually made his way west, settling in the mountains of Colorado. Today, he’s proud to call Salida home.
With a style rooted in tradition but shaped by years of diverse musical experiences, Coleman brings a warm, expressive touch to every performance. His repertoire spans timeless standards, contemporary favorites, and his own heartfelt arrangements.
Each holiday season, he has the unique pleasure of performing for travelers at Denver International Airport, where he plays for two weeks leading up to Christmas—an annual tradition that has become a highlight of his musical year.
