Birds of Play’s high-caliber musicianship and song craft are laced with imagination and a vibrant\, intuitive understanding of the human condition – while their live shows weave together an intricate tapestry of place\, authenticity\, magic\, and humor. \nThe core of the band is Alex Paul (guitar\, banjo\, mandolin\, vocals) Anneke Dean (violin\, guitar\, vocals) Charles Parker Mertens (upright bass) and Jack Tolan (guitar\, mandolin\, vocals) with a rotating cast of special guests and honorary Birds.
