Public Art Task Force
The final meeting of the task force was held Tuesday, September 23, 2014. The group will be presenting their recommendations to City Council at the November 4, 2014 Council meeting. The meeting begins at 6:00 p.m.
On March 18, 2014 the City Council of the City of Salida passed Resolution 2014-22, a resolution approving the formation of and appointments to a Public Art Task Force.
The Task Force was created for a period not to exceed 180 days for researching and developing of policies on public art and to recommend to Council public art policy. The Public Art Task Force will also review proposals for Creative District signs/sculptures and make a recommendation to the Council on the selection of qualified proposals.
